BOOKING POLICIES

AGE REQUIREMENT POLICY:

Guests must be 21 years or older to reserve a room.

CONNECTING ROOM POLICY:

No connecting rooms available.

EXTRA BEDDING POLICY:

Extra bed $20 per night. . Baby cribs available upon request, free of charge.

CHECK-IN & CHECKOUT POLICIES

EARLY CHECK-IN POLICY:

Check-in time is 3:00pm. Early check-in is subject to availability at time of arrival. An early check-in charge may apply, please contact the hotel for further information. Please note, early check-in will NOT be available during high demand periods.

LATE CHECKOUT POLICY:

Checkout time is 11:00pm. We are pleased to offer late checkouts subject to availability on the scheduled departure date for an additional fee.

No pets are allowed.

HEALTH & WELL-BEING POLICIES

SMOKING POLICY:

The hotel is 100% smoke-free, including e-cigarettes. Smoking is not permitted in any of our guest rooms or lobby areas. Any evidence of smoking within premises will result in a $250.00 cleaning fee.

NOISE/DISTURBANCE POLICY:

Parties are not permitted in any guest rooms or suites. Up to four guests are permitted in a room or suite at any one time. Noise complaints are taken seriously and may result in eviction without compensation. Compensation may be given to the guests who have been disturbed, and may be charged to your account at the hotel’s discretion.

PAYMENT POLICIES

PAYMENT POLICY:

A valid Credit/Debit card is required at check-in for payment of the room and tax as well as to guarantee incidentals.

For third-party credit card arrangements, please contact the hotel directly. Third-party credit card payments must be pre-approved at least 72 hours prior to arrival.

CREDIT/DEBIT CARD POLICY:

Debit and Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for the amount for the guest’s stay, plus an amount to cover incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out. Upon check out, all guest’s charges are to be settled, at which time all non-used funds held by the hotel will be released. Authorized amounts may take up to 3 business days or more after departure to be released by your bank or financial institution. The hotel will not be responsible for any resulting fees or charges related to held funds.

For guests with prepaid reservations, Debit/Credit cards will be authorized at check-in for incidentals. The authorization will hold the funds until check out. If at check out, there are no charges, funds will automatically be released.

Hotel Property Fee

Our daily Property Fee is $29 Plus tax and is charged per room, per night.

The Mimosa Hotel is proud to provide the following amenities to all our guests:

  • Two beach lounge chairs (extra chair is $10 + tax and umbrella $15 + tax)
  • Pool lounge chairs
  • Beach towels
  • WiFi free throughout the hotel
  • Coffee makers in all the rooms
  • Unlimited Local phone calls (305 and 786 area codes)

Packages / Storage fee policy

All packages have to be under the same name of the reservation. Packages that are not registered with the same name on the booking will be returned.  Package will be accepted two weeks prior to arrival date.

Depending on the number of packages, there will be a fee to keep packages in our storage:

  • One or two packages are free.
  • Three to five packages, fee of $25
  • Six to nine packages, fee $50
  • Nine + packages $75
  • Other charges will apply if package is oversize/large
